The former chairman of the Park Management System (PMS) disciplinary committee in Oyo State, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary, has stated that the police cannot arrest him.
We previously reported that the Oyo State Police Command proclaimed Auxiliary wanted during a news conference on Friday.
This decision follows a second raid on Lamidi’s hotel on Thursday, during which police discovered additional hazardous weaponry.
Auxilliary revealed this in a phone discussion with Fresh FM Ace presenter Isaac Mayor Brown on the Political circuit, “PMS Review” program.
Mukaila noted that he is committed to peace and that he will follow whatever decision the governor makes about transportation unions.
“How could I have hidden or stockpiled those weapons at my home when I’m not a fool?” he wondered.
Auxiliary also promised to follow Governor Seyi Makinde’s decision on transport unions in the state, calling himself as a peace-loving guy.
He went on to warn his supporters and followers against inciting trouble or engaging in any form of violence in Ibadan and other parts of the state, stating that he does not approve of any form of violence.
Auxiliary talked highly of Governor Makinde and his ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro, declaring both men to be his benefactors.
According to him, no individual, no matter how powerful, is greater than the government.
Auxiliary also committed to comply with the reform and the merger of other driver unions into the PMS, noting that if the new reform does not favor him, he is willing to accept the conclusion.
