Ronaldo and Messi, the world’s two finest footballers today, are unable to communicate successfully in English. In fact, they did not understand English at first.
Ronaldo had to learn English, and he is still not very good at it. Messi acquired English as well, but he refuses to communicate in it to this day.
Ronaldo is not arrogant because you understand him.
Although, most of the time, persons with low self-esteem are intimidated by the brave and daring confidence of others. They’d think you’re arrogant or unpleasant because they, too, have an inferiority complex.
Messi is not as modest as you believe. It wasn’t pleasant when he said something that everyone could comprehend.
In truth, no affluent or powerful person on the planet is modest. You can consider yourself humble for the time being until you achieve some amount of accomplishment. Every wealthy and successful person is filled with pride. Some may not display it to the general public, but they do have it.
Some of you who are admins or moderators in regular Facebook and WhatsApp groups act like demigods, wielding power over others. Some of you treat others disrespectfully simply because you were assigned to offer food or souvenirs at weddings, funerals, or other special events.
Consider attaining 0.1% of Ronaldo’s achievements. Everyone in your hamlet would most likely be k!ll or driven out.
