Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, has asked Nigerians who owns the alleged stolen mandate resulting from the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
Keyamo, who is also the State Minister for Labour and Employment, stated on Saturday that in criminal law, property theft cannot occur unless there is first and foremost an owner.
As a result, he asked the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Atiku Abubakar, who has the allegedly stolen mandate.
On Saturday night, Keyamo posted on Twitter, “In criminal law, there can be no stealing unless the property has an owner.” QUICK QUESTION: In the race between Atiku Abubakar and Who has the allegedly’stolen’ mandate, Peter Obi? Look through the comments to see who can’t answer a simple question.”
Remember that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the presidential election on February 25.
In the polls, Atiku of the PDP came in second, while Peter Obi of the LP came in third.
Both Atiku and Obi, however, have rejected the election results and vowed to reclaim their “stolen mandate” through the election petition tribunal.
In another tweet, the Senior Advocate of Nigeria stated that despite the INEC’s declaration of the winner, the opposition has continued to “promote unfounded claims aimed at delegitimizing the President-mandate.” elect’s We have responded to these.
unfounded claims at all times, which they have interpreted as ‘campaigning after our victory’.”
“It’s not campaigning. It is defending our mandate in the face of these lies. In reality, they want us to remain silent while their lies run wild. They’ve discovered us to be tough nuts to crack!”
In response to the alleged leaked audio of Obi and Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, he stated,
“Peter Obi waited 5 GOOD DAYS to see if the ‘yes-daddy’ audio would be very damaging to him or not before commenting on it, and when he confirmed it had ended his political career, he tweeted a very WEAK DENIAL.”
“Previously, he used to tweet every day or every other day.”
other day, but this time he didn’t tweet about it for FIVE DAYS. On the fourth day, he avoided it by tweeting about the accusation Lai Mohammed made THE SAME DAY in Washington DC, without commenting on the ‘yes-daddy’ audio, which was already four days old. On the fifth day, after receiving an avalanche of criticism from Nigerians for avoiding the main issue, he tweeted his feeble denial. Way to go, man! Nigerians are not stupid!”
