Anambra State’s Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye, has warned criminals to repent or face the wrath of the law and revealed that tactical tactics adopted by the command contributed to the current sustained peace in the state.
After being honored for his work as an Integrated Science teacher during his National Youth Service Corps stint at Kagara Science College in Minna, Niger state, the CP made this announcement at the school’s 30th anniversary and reunion in 1993.
State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Torchukwu Ikenga relayed comments from the Commissioner, who said that tactical measures had been taken to keep the peace.
He dismissed social media rumors and fake publications that present a negative picture of the state internationally and stressed that it is safe.
He claims that at this time, the state of Anambra is free from danger and that tourists would have a pleasant time there. Because of the policy instituted by the state Commissioner of Police, the security situation has returned to normal, as anyone with knowledge of the area can attest.
The Anambra State Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Kagara Old Boys for the award, recalling the memorable times he’d shared with them over the course of 30 years.
To maintain uniformity across the country’s educational system, he said, “Teaching is a noble profession and deserves the attention it needs.”
Mohammed Agwai, the school’s previous principal, gave a speech in which he prayed for the graduates and encouraged them to work together for the betterment of their alma mater.
Former Head boy Pharm. Shehu Ahmed Madaki also voiced his dismay at the school’s deteriorating condition and the bandits’ refusal to let Kagara Science College reopen unless proper protection was provided.
He also praised the school’s prior principals and instructors, saying that their influence is being felt today.
