Manchester United announced on Friday that defender Rhys Bennett will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Stockport County.
Bennetth will hope to have his first experience of senior football by playing for a side that is currently leading League Two.
The 20-year-old led the Under-18s team that won the FA Youth Cup in 2022.
He scored the first goal in the final against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
Bennett has competed for the Red Devils in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy this season.
However, he has yet to make his first team debut for Erik ten Hag’s side.
“Best of luck to Rhys, and we’ll be keeping an eye on his progress,” Man United said.
