Tinubu Bola: “My Administration Will Make Corruption Unattractive” Tinubu, the incoming president, has vowed to combat corruption.

He promised that his administration will make corruption in the judiciary unappealing.

According to Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, a media aide, Tinubu spoke on Thursday during the commissioning of the state’s magistrate courts complex in Port Harcourt, Rivers.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the former Lagos governor the winner of the presidential election on March 1 and he is expected to take the oath of office on May 29.

Tinubu said at the commissioning that his administration would make “the changes that are necessary” to combat “corruption” in the judiciary.

“You don’t expect your judges to live in squalor, operate in squalor, and dispense justice in squalor.”

In squalor, justice is served. This is part of the necessary changes. “We must fight corruption, but we must also consider the other side of the coin,” Tinubu stated.

“If you don’t want your judges to be corrupt, you have to look after them.” You don’t want them working in dangerous conditions.”

According to the president-elect, a lack of consumer credit makes it easier for workers to acquire property such as houses and cars, making them vulnerable to corruption.

“Having consumer credit reduces the proclivity for corruption.” We don’t want our judges to play dirty and jeopardize justice. I promise we’ll go over all of this in a policy think tank.”

Tinubu made a promise on Wednesday. that his administration would not marginalise any part of the country.

He also pledged to “leave legacy projects across the length and breadth of Nigeria”.
