Members of the Abia State House of Assembly have impeached the Speaker, Hon Chinedum Orji.
According to reports, approximately 18 of the 24 members signed a petition to impeach the Speaker on Tuesday morning.
Ginger Onwusibe, Solomon Akpulonu, Munachim Alozie, and Kelechi Onuzuruike were among the four members who refused to sign.
Hon. Chukwudi Apugo (Umuahia East) moved for his removal, which was seconded by Hon. Okey Igwe (PDP, Umunneochi).
