In a statement published to the public, Barcelona assured fans that next Wednesday’s scheduled preseason match against Arsenal will be played as scheduled.
The La Liga powerhouses postponed their Saturday match against Juventus because a few players came down with an illness.
There was talk that their Los Angeles match against Mikel Arteta’s team would be postponed as a result.
On the other hand, Barcelona stated:
FC Barcelona hopes all of its fans in the Los Angeles area can make it out to SoFi Stadium on Wednesday to cheer on the team as they take on Arsenal.
“We’re in constant touch with each other, and both teams are completely confident that the game will go on as scheduled.”
