Seven persons have been sentenced for racist crimes directed towards Real Madrid’s Brazilian star Vinicius Jr.
Four individuals were fined 60,001 euros (£51,700) and banned from Real Madrid’s training field for hanging an effigy of Vinicius in January.
A Madrid judge granted bail to the four guys after they were arrested 11 days ago.
Three others were fined 5,000 euros (£4,300) and banned for a year for making racist gestures at Real Madrid’s match against Valencia on May 21.
According to authorities, the three are aged 18 to 21 and were apprehended two days after the game.
Spain’s State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia, and Intolerance in Sport imposed the fines, according to the country’s Sports Commission on Monday.
