Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, made the accusation that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has no solution to Nigeria’s economic crisis on Sunday.
Primate Ayodele said that Nigerians should brace themselves for much more trying times.
He predicted that without borrowing money, many states would fail and the country would collapse.
According to Ayodele’s spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho, the economy will remain unstable for the next four years, and Nigeria will continue to face challenges.
The holy man suggested that combating corruption could help alleviate economic distress.
The statement by the BUA chairman to lower the price of cement to N3000 was met with a response from Primate Ayodele.
”I want to advise the minister of finance and CBN governor that there is no way Nigeria will exist without borrowing,” Ayodele said. If the federal government doesn’t take out a loan, a lot of states will be crippled.
The Nigerian economy is a ticking time bomb, and the government has no answers. For the next four years, this situation will not improve.
”The President has a lot of work to do on the economy, but I don’t see him fighting corruption, which is necessary to end economic distress. The governor of the CBN is under intense scrutiny.
BUA Cement has promised to lower the price of cement to N3000. Because things are just going to grow harder, I can’t even fathom the notion.
