President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun on his 63rd birthday, May 13, 2023, and urged him to seek God’s help in carrying out his mandate.
His congratulatory message was issued on Friday in Abuja by his spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina.
Adeleke, according to the President, had solidified his base and gradually built a formidable network of friends and political allies, which had aided his many victories, including leading one of the country’s 36 states.
Adeleke’s easygoing outlook on life, according to the president, had turned into an asset, with a large following that spans all ages.
He urged the governor, whose election victory had recently been upheld by the Supreme Court, to Put the interests of the state and the welfare of the people above all else, and seek God’s guidance to carry out his mandate.
Buhari prayed that God would grant Adeleke, a former Senator who represented Osun-West in the National Assembly’s Upper Chamber, the strength, wisdom, and courage to serve his people and the nation.
