Pep Guardiola believes that Manchester City striker Haaland can improve further.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes Erling Haaland has a lot of room to improve.
This season, the Norwegian striker has 50 goals for City, including 34 in the Premier League and 12 in the Champions League.

Dixie Dean of Everton set the English record for goals by a top-flight player in a single season with 63 in 1927-28.

“When you look at what Erling has done, I’ve always said it will be difficult,” Guardiola said.

“If he doesn’t score the goals he’s scoring now, people will say, ‘Oh, he’s in a bad situation,’ but his game has a lot of room to improve.”

“I wouldn’t put it in the box, but in the game itself, the movements. I think he has that feeling, ‘Is that enough?’, and I think he has the desire to get better as a player.

“As long as he has that he can do it.”
