David Ochieng, a Ugandan pastor, has closed his church after winning over $100 million in a sports bet.
The church members, on the other hand, were left in disbelief and confusion.
When his congregation arrived for midweek service, he closed the building and left them stranded. Members of the church who visited the premises were stunned to find the gate locked and unsure what to do.
Pastor David was contacted and admitted that he chose the job as a means of survival rather than because he was truly called.
