Olayinka calls those who want Fayose expelled from the PDP “Almajiri politicians

Lere Olayinka, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in Ekiti State, has criticized those inside the PDP who are pushing for the resignation of ex-governor Ayo Fayose.

The PDP leader and former candidate for the House of Representatives from the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency published a statement on Thursday in which he claimed that some members of the party were still reeling from the results of the election.

Olayinka claimed that the bad leadership of some individuals whom he called “political almajiris” was to blame for the PDP’s decline in the State.

“I would have ignored those people whose horizon is not beyond noise making to attract the usual political Kobo Kobo,” he remarked.

However, it is now imperative that you inform them that harvest season is over and that they must seek alternative employment.

For the sake of preventing the complete collapse of the party, those currently in charge ought to start stripping off their cloaks of hubris.

The political almajiris in Ekiti, who have never won an election without Fayose, are either still in denial that no one is fighting to join the PDP now or are just playing to the gallery to get the usual scraps from their political ATM.

For his suspected involvement in anti-party activities during the 2023 general elections, SAREWA HAUSA reports that Fayose was already suspended from the party.

However, the National Working Committee (NWC) overturned his ban a few days later.
