The transitional portraits of Bola Tinubu, the newly elected president, and Kashim Shettima, the newly elected vice president, have been made public ahead of their May 29 inauguration.
Official Portrait of Tinubu – The Presidential Transition Council approved the portraits.
The director of media and publicity for Bola Ahmed Tinubu revealed this on Twitter by writing:
“Pre-inauguration official pictures of Senator Kashim Shettima and President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu. by the Presidential Transition Council approved.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, had declared Tinubu the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Both candidates for the APC, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), beaten by Tinubu.
At the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Atiku and Obi are challenging Tinubu’s victory.
