Nnamdi Kanu Issues An Order To Simon Ekpa To End The Southeast Sit-Down

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu has sent a stern message to Simon Ekpa, a Biafran militant living in Finland. Ekpa was told by Kanu to end her strike activity in the Southeast.

Ekpa was also warned by Kanu not to anger the southeastern governors and lawmakers. Anyone enforcing a sit-at-home in the region without IPOB leader’s approval is not his disciple and should face legal consequences, he said.

He said that anyone in the Southeast enforcing a “sit-at-home” policy is not a follower of his and should face legal consequences.

On Friday, IPOB’s Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, sent a telegram from IPOB’s leader to Ekpa in which he gave the order.

Ejimakor, speaking to reporters in Enugu, cited Kanu as stating, “Simon, this is a direct order from me. I am giving you strict orders to stop suggesting sick days from now on.

You should also avoid making enemies with governors or other political figures, as you have no idea what they may be doing on my behalf.

You are under direct orders from me to cancel any current sit-at-home action, and I require a public statement to that effect.

It was never my intention to enslave our people through this uprising that I started. I have always hated and always will hate anyone or anything that seeks to make life more difficult for our people. In the event that you do not publish this announcement on your site, I have given Aloy permission to make a statement on my behalf.

“Anyone who still plays sit-at-home games is not my student. People who hate Biafra and are willing to kill for their country are disguising themselves as enforcers of the Sit-at-Home to commit atrocities against the citizens we vowed to protect.

Those who are supposedly implementing a sit-at-home have received numerous texts from me explaining that they are not acting on my behalf. I’m not pleading for my freedom or asking anyone to help me get out of here; all I’m asking is that Nigeria respect its own laws.
