Salamat Suleiman, a homemaker, reportedly filed for divorce after only two months of marriage due to her husband’s health concerns.
The plaintiff told a court in Ilorin, Kwara State, that her husband’s sperm was watery. She subsequently asked the court to break the marriage, claiming she was sick of the relationship.
The answer acknowledged that he has health problems, but argued that his wife also has health problems.
He, on the other hand, stated that he still loved his wife and appealed with the court to give him more time to resolve the misunderstanding.
The presiding Judge, AbdulQadir Umar, advised the wife to keep an open mind and seek medical help for their health problems.
The judge recommended the wife to give the partnership a second try, pointing out that all marriages have difficulties.
The case was rescheduled for August 28 for a report on settlement or continuation of the hearing.
