My career is going well already, says Man City manager Guardiola

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, claims that his “legacy is exceptional” as he gets ready for the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
City, who are going for the treble but have never won the European championship, drew 1-1 in the first leg last Tuesday at the Bernabeu.

With Barcelona in 2009 and 2011, Guardiola has won two Champions Leagues in his managerial career.

I’ve been around here a lot, he said.

“My legacy is already outstanding. I advised the players to savor the moment and recognize how fortunate we are to be here.

We only need to win one game to advance to the championship; it’s in our hands, it depends on us.

I feel incredibly strongly about them. Whatever happens – thank you so much to them for bringing me and the City fans here again.”
