Freedom Atsepoyi, often known as Mr Jollof, a controversial television personality, has threatened to expose club and lounge owners for selling bogus drinks to consumers.
Mr Jollof revealed this after being brought to an unnamed hospital for alleged false drink consumption.
The show promoter criticized the lounge where he bought the bogus drink that prompted his health issue, claiming that he is an ulcer patient, in a video uploaded online.
Mr Jollof also promised to notify all clubs and lounges selling bogus drinks to the appropriate authorities and to guarantee that the situation is adequately investigated.
“You get a club or a lounge, but you sell fake drinks,” he explained. Why would you sell bogus drinks to your consumers if you make more than a 100% profit? Don’t you realize that some of the folks who come to your club to drink have health problems?
“I’m now an ulcer patient; a club gave me a drink that caused the ulcer.” If you are selling false cocktails, I will notify the right authorities, who will shut down your club and I will ensure that I follow up on the issue.
“They make a 100% profit while selling products that will kill their customers.” When their soul becomes darker than Satan, they will blame the government.
“Selling counterfeit liquor is terrible!!! I’m here for you, lounge/club owners; make sure I’m well first.”
