A 12-year-old girl’s body was reportedly found inside a bag in Paris.
Her father was concerned when she didn’t return home from school on Friday, according to BFMTV.
Later that day, the girl’s mother went to the neighborhood police station in Paris’ 19th arrondissement and filed a missing person report.
When detectives discovered kidnapping evidence in the basement of the family home, they immediately began an investigation.
CCTV cameras captured a lady leaving the premises with a bag, which was later discovered on rue d’Hautpoul several blocks away and contained the girl’s body.
She had many slashes on her throat and tape covering her face. On Saturday, a post-mortem examination will be performed.
It is unknown why four persons were detained at this time; nonetheless, they are currently in custody. One of them is the man who dialed 911 after finding the bag.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted into a “murder of a youngster under 15.”
