Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford has extended his contract with the club.
Fabrizio Romano, a market transfer expert, announced the news on Monday via his verified Twitter profile.
Romano stated that a club announcement will be issued shortly after the contract is signed.
Rashford will play with the Red Devils until June 2018, according to him.
He also stated that a verbal deal was struck with the striker one month ago, and that both parties had signed and concluded the agreement.
He stated,
“Marcus Rashford has agreed to a new contract with Manchester United.” It’s all signed, sealed, and delivered – expect a club statement soon.
“As previously stated, a verbal agreement was reached one month ago. Everything has now been signed and done.
“Five-year contract valid until June 2028.”
