Leicester City’s Relegation Battle Gets a Boost From Iheanacho

Leicester City manager Dean Smith believes Kelechi Iheanacho will be able to play again before the end of the season.
Last month, Iheanacho suffered a groin injury in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United.

Smith later revealed that the Nigeria international might not play again for the Foxes this season.

The Englishman, on the other hand, has provided a more upbeat update on the situation.

“Kel has responded positively to treatment.” He won’t be available for the weekend, but he could be available for the final two games of the season. Apart from that, everyone got through the [Everton] game fine,” the manager said ahead of Leicester City’s Premier League match against Fulham.

Iheanacho has five goals. and provided four assists in 26 league appearances for Leicester this season.
