His attorney, Barr. Ejike Ugwu, claimed that Obiajulu is mentally ill and was previously ejected from a hotel in Abuja before selecting one of three airlines for a flight to Lagos.
When Ugwu visited the suspect at the Airport Police Division, he claimed that the police had not yet provided medical care despite his condition.
Obiajulu is not in a good mental state; prior to boarding the flight, he was ejected from an Abuja hotel due to his mental condition.
“He even reserved three separate flights for Lagos.”
trip. He made reservations for Aero, Dana, and Ibm Air. For the same trip, he had three tickets. Therefore, there is no question that he has mental disabilities, Ugwu said.
The attorney claimed that all attempts to persuade the police to grant the anti-Tinubu suspect access to medical care had failed.
The IPO in charge of the case and the DPO of the Police Division are nowhere to be found as I speak to you. Additionally, as a result of the numerous beatings the suspect endured at the airport, his legs are now all swollen. He is currently in critical condition.
“All I’m asking is for him to be taken to the police clinic at the very least. I have also tried to get in touch with the Force PRO but he did not take my calls,” he added.
