Kidnapped Native American celebrity doctor Boast brags after being set free

“I could have escaped if I wanted to.”

Chidozie Nwangwu, the famous Anambra native doctor also known as “Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki,” has admitted that he could have prevented his abduction but opted not to.

Nwangwu was abducted last Sunday and freed early the following Saturday.

After the deaths of his two bodyguards, he voluntarily gave himself to his captors, he stated during his account of the incident.

He explained, “The truth is, I was there (at home) that day at around 11:30am when someone contacted me and said they were at my hotel, and that they were spending money, and that they had spent close to N300,000, and that they would have liked me to be around.

I took them up on their offer and drove myself and my new automobile to the motel. I was alone on this trip. Within 30 minutes of my arrival, gunfire filled the air.

People began fleeing in every direction. Now curious, I ventured outside, where I was promptly met with gunfire.

Two of my guards were slain. I won’t say much right now, but there are only two things that can save a man: courage and faith. If your charisma doesn’t get you out of a jam, your bank account probably will.

Anyone with charisma ought to be financially secure. Then they picked me up in a car. I could have escaped if I wanted to, but after seeing the wounded I realized that doing so would only invite more deaths. They would have killed several of the individuals who were lying down if I had tried to leave.

The story would have gone something like this: “The whole issue started when I came in; I brought in kidnappers.
For the sake of appearances, I decided to go along with them. What I did ended up saving a lot of lives. Let me assure you that it wasn’t because I was a money eater that I was taken. Come to me and I will give you money if I eat your money.
