In the midst of the Osun APC Crisis, Aregbesola has praised President Tinubu

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the former minister of the interior, has stressed the importance of quality infrastructure, especially decent roads, for a thriving economy.
During an interview with Osun Defender Tv, he also lauded President Bola Tinubu for his role in advancing Lagos State’s road infrastructure revolution.
Aregbesola reportedly said that people’s most frequent demand, after food, shelter, and healthcare, is road, while identifying road infrastructure as the backbone of any economy.
His exact comments were, “How do you deliver the highest intelligence of people if you don’t start from what is most common?” Road is the fourth most prevalent requirement after food, housing, and healthcare. There can be no economy if people are unable to move about freely.
The rate of change in money is the economy. There is information that the general public needs to know.
The rate at which currency exchanges hands is a good indicator of how active an economy is. If transportation is hampered by poor road conditions, the economy will suffer. Put it out of your mind. There can be no economy if people can’t get from A to B. The economy has collapsed.
What we did in Lagos was rectified thanks to our enlightened understanding of the state of the economy. No matter how much credit we give ourselves, we cannot ignore the reality that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the driving force behind all of our accomplishments.
We must never forget that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership made the achievements we wish to celebrate possible. And we successfully reversed Lagos’s fortunes. I’m glad I could help with the Lagos reconstruction.
It was formerly impossible to travel from Yaba to Ojuelegba to Oshodi and others. We traveled every path that had been deemed impossible up to that point. I’m delighted to report that most of the things people are still doing now have their origins in the brains we created. It makes me happy to know that I had a hand in creating something that other people are using to better their own lives and the world around them. Lagos is a reflection of our teamwork.
