To ensure the strength of charms, the deceased, an ex-convict, was reported to have drank a ‘bullet-repelling’ concoction made for him and his friends.
According to Leadership, Tunde and his group were persuaded by the herbalist that no bullet could pierce their bodies if they were fired by anyone.
According to a source, Tunde’s friend fired at him without resistance while testing the charm’s power.
He was apparently brought to the local hospital at the camp, where he was pronounced dead, while his assailants fled the scene before the villagers arrived.
