The Labour Party’s State Working Committee, SWC, and the Senator Athan Achonu Campaign Organisation have informed supporters that they are ready to “Take Back Imo State” and hand it over to the people.
This was said in a statement made accessible to journalists in Owerri, Imo State’s capital, by the SWC and Labour Party Governorship Campaign Council for the November 11 Imo State gubernatorial election.
According to the statement, “Our campaign is in full swing, and we are very prepared to ‘Take Back Imo’ State and hand it over to our people, so we are launching our campaign council, comprised of eminent Imolites and great party men.”
“The Labour Party’s State Working Committee and the Senator Athan Achonu Campaign Organisation have formed the Labour Party Governorship Campaign Council for the November 11 Imo State gubernatorial election.”
“The newly formed campaign council will be inaugurated on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, prior to the start of election campaigns.”
“By 11:30 a.m., all members of the newly formed campaign council are expected to be seated at the Senator Athan Achonu Campaign Headquarters, 158, MCC Uratta Road, Owerri, Imo State.”
“Also expected to attend are all Local Government Chairmen and Coordinators.”
