Marco Silva, manager of Fulham, has been effusive in his praise of Calvin Bassey after his fantastic first game for the club.
The transfer of Bassey to the Whites from Ajax Amsterdam of the Eredivisie has just been finalized.
The Nigerian international debuted for Fulham on Sunday, in a preseason friendly loss to Chelsea by a score of 2-0.
With Chelsea already up 2-0 at halftime, the 23-year-old entered the game.
Silva was especially pleased with Bassey’s performance.

Bassey left Ajax after only one season to join Fulham.
