Football was never something Asisat Oshoala was interested in doing, she says

Asisat Oshoala, a forward for the Super Falcons, has admitted that being a professional football player was never her goal.

Five-time winner of the African Women’s Footballer of the Year award, now aspires to practice law.

In an interview with Karen Carney’s Leaders Of The Pack podcast, she revealed this information.

Oshoala declared,

I never aspired to be a professional football player. That was not part of my original game plan.
Karen inquired

“So, what exactly were you intending to do?”
Oshoala shot back:

“That’s when I decided I wanted to go to law school. For me, that dream came true. I had planned on attending law school. Research is something I really enjoy doing. I get great pleasure in interrogating others. I get a huge kick out of being the scapegoat. And that’s not all, either.

Therefore, even if you are wrong, I will still support my pals. Excuses are fun for me to make.
