Nasir El-Rufai has been denounced as a representative of the dreaded Taliban by Primate Elijah Ayodele, head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church. He claims El-Rufai’s comments have the potential to ignite a religious conflict in Nigeria.
The submission was made by the cleric on Thursday as he chastised El-Rufai for his recent remarks disparaging Christians and endorsing Muslims in the State. In a statement released by his media assistant, Oluwatosin Osho, who called the former governor’s comment inappropriate,
Ayodele stated: “El-Rufai is satanic, he should not be trusted. God will take the Kaduna election back from him because it was manipulated in his candidate’s favor.
“How can he say something so callous, and why is he making fun of Christians? He represents the Taliban in Nigeria and is a religious hypocrite.
“We want a peaceful country, but El-Rufai is a threat to that peace,” we said in response to El Rufai’s statement. He has been the driving force behind the Southern Kaduna crisis throughout.
“El Rufai is a satanic agent, and God will shortly reveal his schemes. He lost in Kaduna, but the true victor will take back his position. We must take action to stop his nefarious plans. He is a racial and religious bigot. He is a pillar of the Muslim-Muslim presidency in Nigeria, and Nigeria will undoubtedly soon feel the effects.
