CSP Olasunkanmi Musiliu, Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Oghara Division in Warri
South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, and a team of security operatives have rescued two kidnap victims in Ethiope-West Local Government Area of the state without harming them on the Oghara-Ugbenu link road.
At the site, the police found four live cartridges, a Tecno Spark phone, an ATM card, and three SIM cards from various cellular providers.
The Delta State Police Command, under the direction of CP Wale Abass, issued a statement in which DSP Bright Edafe corroborated the report.
According to the police photographer, the abduction victims are back with their loved ones.
He said that the kidnapping suspects left the victims abandoned on the Oghara-Ugbenu connection road before making their getaway.
Regardless of whether or not the victim is rescued, DSP Edafe stated, “efforts are in high gear to ensure the arrest of the fleeing suspected kidnappers.”
