Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, has said that his team is “complete” without Kylian Mbappé.
After their 2-0 victory against Manchester United in a friendly match played in Houston, Ancelotti made these comments.
Early on, newcomer Jude Bellingham—brought in from Borussia Dortmund for €103 million this summer—found the back of the net, and then fellow summer signing Joselu added a second with a fantastic overhead kick.
Ancelotti thinks his team is good enough despite losing Karim Benzema and rumors involving Mbappé.
The team is doing great. The team won’t be a problem for us at all. Having a subpar team would be problematic. The team is fantastic. Ancelotti assured the press that it was finished.
In response to a question regarding Mbappé, he abruptly said, “Next question.”
