The campaign committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the rerun election in Jigawa State’s Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency has been inaugurated.
Present at Wednesday’s inauguration ceremony held at the state APC secretariat in Dutse was Malam Umar Namadi, governor of Jigawa State.
According to SAREWAHAUSA, the Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency election on February 25, 2023, was ruled as inconclusive by the National Assembly Election Tribunal.
The decision of the Tribunal was likewise upheld by the Court of Appeal.
In the second week of February 2024, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will hold rerun elections in both federal and state constituencies.
