The US embassy denied popular Nigerian singer Portable a visa, according to an event producer named Alaafin Washington.
Alaafin expressed concern that the “Zazuu” star might never be able to travel to the US again, claiming that the artist was to blame for his problems. On his first day at the embassy, he claimed that Portable insulted the immigration officer and the consulate.
Days prior, the divisive musician called him out for allegedly manipulating the rejection of his visa application. However, the promoter who displayed a receipt for the funds supplied by Portable cautioned him about his character, warning that if he keeps acting in that way, show promoters will avoid him.
Alaafin also disclosed that the singer of “Clear” claimed not to know the individuals who accompanied him to the consulate.
