After Wizkid’s show at Tottenham Stadium, he’mistakenly’ threw a N85m ring to the crowd

Ayodeji Balogun, well known by his stage as Wizkid, threw away a ring worth £100,000 (about N85 million) to his fans over the weekend.

While trying to toss his jacket to the crowd at his sold-out event at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK on Saturday night, he apparently lost a costly ring.

Adesope Olajide, a well-known British-Nigerian podcaster, claims the ring is worth £100,000 (about N85 million).

The podcaster said he wished he hadn’t left the front row when the ring dropped, because he had previously retrieved rings dropped by Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz.

He made this comment at a recent Instagram Q&A session.

Why did I leave that front row [during Wizkid’s event] when the ring was going to fall?” Adesope asked. Ah! I have already snagged rings from Zlatan and Diamond Platnumz. Both the pounds and the money are in the thousands.

That would have been the Wiz ring, of course. I always tell it as it is. I reckon I could get over £100k for it.

Wizkid, meantime, became the first African singer to sell out Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which seats 80,000 people. He follows Burna Boy, who sold out London Stadium last month, as the second African to do so.

Bukayo Saka, Alex Iwobi, and Eddie Nketiah were just a few of the football stars in attendance.
