On Tuesday, Kaduna Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, revealed that ten students from the Government Secondary School in Awon, Kachia Local Government Area, had been kidnapped.
According to Samuel Aruwan, who stated this in a statement on Tuesday, the day school students were abducted on Monday.
He stated that preliminary reports received did not specify the exact location from which the students were abducted, but that a detailed report is awaited to determine whether the incident occurred on school grounds or elsewhere.
Aruwan stated that once the reports are received, the government will issue a public statement.
