Sola Famuyibo, a trader from Ibadan, has leveled a shocking accusation against her brother-in-wife. law’s
Sumbo, her brother-in-wife, law’s “charmed” her husband with cooking, she told a Mapo Grade A Customary Court in Ibadan.
Famuyibo made the allegations in her counter-argument to her husband’s claim that she mistreated him during their marriage.
She went on to say that everything was fine in her marriage until Sumbo used her cooking to cause problems by luring Williams, her husband, and thus completely destroying her marriage.
“My Lord, Sumbo is attempting to take my life. She forced my husband to commit adultery. In fact, Williams is currently dating one Alhaja.

“Please help reconcile my husband with me after you have taken my husband out of our house and caused Williams to separate from me,” Famuyibo begged the court.
Williams had sought the dissolution of the 33-year-old union earlier in 2022, claiming that living with Sola was no longer comfortable for him.
He went on to say that Sola had stopped caring for him even in his old age.
“In January 2022, I fled our home.
“My lord, I am now living with my brother due to Sola’s unhealthy attitude and meanness toward me.”
“I don’t have peace of mind because she doesn’t look after me.”
“I had five children before marrying Sola in 1990, but they are all living with me now.”
“I’ve lost touch with my other relatives as a result of Sola’s repulsive attitude toward me,” Famuyibo explained.
Mrs. S.M. Akintayo, the court’s President, adjourned the case until April 27 for cross examination following the conclusion of her defense.
