‘Reclaiming My Mandate Remains Unassailable,’ Oyetola Tells Supporters Following Appeal Court Decision
Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, former Governor of Osun State, has urged members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain calm and not be discouraged by the outcome of Friday’s appeal, saying his faith in God to reclaim his mandate remains unshaken.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Ismail Omipidan, in response to the Appeal Court decision that overturned the Tribunal’s decision that initially sacked Governor Ademola Adeleke, Oyetola stated that his faith in the judiciary remains unshaken.
He went on to say:

“However, based on what we’re hearing, we believe we have a viable case to take to the Supreme Court.” Our faith in the judiciary remains unshaken, as does my unwavering belief in God’s promise regarding the resumption of my mandate.
