Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, will wed two new wives in the coming weeks after weding Olori Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda in September.
Before turning 48 in October, the king would reportedly wed Ashley Adegoke and Tobi Phillips.
Tobi Phillips, the future bride, reportedly earned a degree in marine science from the University of Lagos.
The Ashley Adegoke Foundation, an NGO that supports underprivileged children and widows, is currently led by Queen Ashley, a chartered accountant.
Ashley currently manages her businesses in the UK and holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich in London.
The Ooni’s 2008 marriage to Adebukola Bombata, which failed subsequently, took place before his coronation. Following her coronation, Ooni wed Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016, but their marriage lasted just one year and five months before they divorced.
After that, Ooni wed Silekunola in 2018; the union gave birth to a boy before the divorce was announced in December.
