Olukayode Joseph, 50, has been detained by members of the Ogun So-Safe Corps on suspicion of drugging and using his daughter, 14, as a sex machine.
So-Safe Corps spokesman Moruf Yusuf said in a statement that the organization received a distress call alleging that Joshua, a resident of Akinbo Phase 2, Opposite Ola Fatia House, Olambe in Ifo Local Government Area of the State, had reportedly had carnal knowledge of his biological daughter.
Yusuf revealed that the Divisional Officer of the Corps in Oke-Aro/Olambe, SC Akeem Olaiya, had been given quick orders to arrest the suspect by the State Commander, Soji Ganzallo.
In order to defend the suspected rapist from the wrath of the bush, he said, the Agbado Area Command also dispatched more men to the spot.
Yusuf added that during the preliminary investigation, the suspect admitted to the crime and begged for forgiveness after realizing that there was nowhere to hide his covert dealings with his daughter.
Further information revealed that the victim had charged her father of repeatedly sleeping with her after drugging her.
I used to only see white discharges coming from my private area, she claimed.
The suspect, however, claimed it was his first time having intercourse with his daughter and denied sedating her before the encounter.
According to Yusuf, the suspect and the victim have been sent to the Ajuwon Police Division for more inquiries.
