Osun government must pay for victims’ medical bills Igbalaye

The government of Osun State has pledged to do all in its power to guarantee that the victims of Tuesday’s road accident in Osogbo receive the medical care they need.

While visiting the family of one of the victims of Tuesday’s disaster, Secretary to the State Government Teslim Igbalaye made this known on Wednesday.

Kolapo Alimi, the Commissioner for Information and Culture of Osun State, made this public in a statement.

A delegation from the state administration paid a visit to the home of the father and his three children, all of whom were killed in the tragic event.

An accident was reported on Tuesday morning near the WOCDIF event center on Ring Road in Osogbo by SAREWAHAUSA.

We are here to express our condolences for the tragic occurrence that occurred yesterday; Governor Adeleke has instructed us to do so while she is out of the country. May the strength to endure this unfixable loss be bestowed upon you by the Almighty God.

Until they make a full recovery, the state government would cover all of the medical expenditures for the children receiving treatment at UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital (UTH), he informed.

While the remaining children were being treated at the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Igbalaye ordered the administration to make sure they were being taken care of.

“The Governor has ordered that the state government will cover the children’s medical expenses; please take all the required measures to ensure the children get well quickly,” he stated.
