Joachim Andersen, a defender for Crystal Palace, has issued a warning to Rasmus Hojlund, an attacker for Manchester United, before Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup match.
When asked about the upcoming match between Manchester United and Crystal Palace, Andersen replied he had no problem taking on Hojlund, a fellow country guy.
The Danish center defender told the club’s website, “It is going to be exciting to play against him [Hojlund].
“He’s a bright, enthusiastic young man with great potential. He’s swift, powerful, and full of boundless vitality.
I think he’s off to a great start over in England, and it’s not easy going up against a guy of his caliber. The goal he scored last week made my day.
He’s going to score a ton of goals for our national team, which is great, but I feel confident in my ability to manage him when we face off.
Hojlund moved to Man United this summer from Atalanta for a reported £72 million.
In a 4-3 Champions League loss against Bayern Munich, the 20-year-old scored his first professional goal for Erik ten Hag’s squad.
