Abdulafeez Awakan, a forward from Nigeria, has reportedly signed with the Bahraini club Al Hala.
Awakan moved from Dakkada of the Nigeria National League to the Middle Eastern club.
During his 30th year on the planet, the 30-year-old midfielder scored once for Dakkada in the NPFL.
The agreement between Awakan and the Bahraini club is for a single season.
Dakkada, who will play in the NNL next season, offered him a contract extension, but he declined.
The veteran midfielder’s previous teams were the Rangers, Shooting Stars, and Sunshine Stars.
In 2015, he led Akwa United to a Federation Cup victory.
