Date set for ruling on APC’s case against Kano Governor Yusuf by the Tribunal

the Kano State Gubernatorial Election Tribunal will rule on the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) challenge to New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) Governor Abba Yusuf.

The three-judge panel’s head judge, Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay, had previously predicted a ruling within the statutory maximum of 180 days.

After closing statements were made by all sides, the meeting was adjourned.

In its closing argument, the APC requested that the tribunal rule in favor of their petition and reinstate Nasir Gawuna as the election’s victor.

The petition was met with requests for dismissal from INEC, the NNPP, and Yusuf.
