When I spoke out against Naira Marley, former Lagos Police Public Relations Officer Badmus Opetodolapo was critical of me

Badmus Opetodolapo, a former public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, has spoken out about the harsh insults she faced after speaking out against the Nigerian musician Naira Marley in the wake of the controversy following the death of singer Mohbad.

Remember that the cop, who was active on social media, had criticized Naira Marley’s lifestyle and his post on women’s bodies on his page in 2019.

It was in 2019 that Naira Marley tweeted, “Having a big booty is better than having a master’s degree.”

The then-head of the Lagos Police Department’s public relations office responded, “So having a big body part is now better than having Educational or vocational qualifications?” I haven’t gotten over it yet! We need to bring sanity back into the system and end our tolerance for public annoyance. To applaud a clearly delinquent and unproductive dead duck who claims to be generating music (although annoying music) is to be mediocre.

I want to tell the future generation, “Don’t let anyone tell you that having a good body part is more important than getting an education or a good job.” It’s not even up for discussion! Only solid academic or professional credentials can ensure long-term financial security. Tune in! Say “no” to hard drugs; they destroy lives.

Former Mohbad record label owner Naira Marley responded, saying, “This instagram police want to have sex with me but she is really ugly.”

Mohbad, who had previously accused Naira Marley of endangering her life, reportedly passed away on Tuesday in mysterious circumstances, as reported by DAILY POST.

After Mohbad passed away, a slew of documents and videos showing the duo relentlessly bullying the late singer for leaving Marlians Record leaked online, drawing widespread criticism of Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.

The former Lagos PRO, Opetodolapo, responded to the controversies on her official Instagram page, where she stated that she was vilified for speaking out against Naira Marley in 2019.

There are a lot of tags on me, and I want to opt out of getting any more, so I’m glad the proper authorities are looking into this.

She stated, “My heart is with the departed and everything that he represents. When I came out alone against this figure and the imminent threat it portrays, I was bashed both inside and out.
