Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign has claimed that Nyesom Wike, minister for the Federal Capital Territory, will be expelled from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Atiku’s Director of Research, Strategy, and Documentation, Don Pedro Obaseki, said that Wike deserved to be fired after his latest appeal for Atiku’s expulsion, his numerous vertipurations against the PDP, and his string of betrayals.
All of the PDP’s internal strife, he claims, can be traced back to the former governor of Rivers State.
This past Monday, while speaking to reporters in Abuja, Obaseki remarked, “Wike [is] the problem of the PDP and to expel Wike now is a task that must be done by the PDP.”
He said this in response to Wike’s recent demand that PDP dismiss Atiku, the party’s presidential candidate, along with Aminu Tambuwal and Sule Lamido.
“the man who is calling for the expulsion of others from the party is the person who deserves to be expelled from the party,” Obaseki continued.
Wike is responsible for founding the party cult known as the G-5. He ran for office opposing the party’s goals, constitution, and established procedures.
It was Nyesom Wike, if someone had done something against the party. He has battled everyone in the group who is recognizable.
Wike has gone through the danger zone; it’s time for him to get ready. Like a ton of bricks, we’re about to hit him.
He has let loose the hounds of war, and we will not stand by and allow the party to be trampled.
