Victor Osimhen of Napoli is now fourth on the list of Nigeria’s all-time leading scorers.
Osimhen scored three goals as the Super Eagles defeated Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 in their last Africa Cup of Nations qualification round.
Taiwo Awoniyi, Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Chukwueze also scored.
Osimhen now has 20 goals in 27 games, trailing Rashidi Yekini, Segun Odegbami, and Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
