After President Bola Tinubu’s triumph at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday, Lagos-East Senator Tokunbo Abiru extended his congratulations.
On Thursday in Lagos, Abiru’s media aide, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, released a statement extending congratulations to Tinubu.
The congressman praised the court’s decision as an accurate expression of the will of the people and a vindication of Tinubu’s mandate.
Abiru extended his best wishes to the millions of Nigerians who voted for Tinubu on February 25 and to the members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Senator Abiru, who heads the Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions Committee, is optimistic that the president would follow through on his promise to restore faith in Nigeria.
He pleaded on Nigerians of all stripes to rally behind the Bola Tinubu administration and help make the country better for everyone.
