President Bola Tinubu has met briefly with his military chiefs for a briefing on their activities ahead of his proposed journey to India to attend the G-20 conference.
The Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar were all present for the regularly scheduled meeting in the Presidential Villa.
In this closed-door Aso Rock discussion, service chiefs update the President on the state of national security, including any gaps in coverage that require further attention.
Later that day, Tinubu would travel to New Delhi, India, for the G-20 Leaders Summit.
