Gabriel Jesus’ injury status is disclosed by Arteta.
“Unfortunately he had a little procedure this morning,” Arteta revealed.
“His knee pain had been bothering him for a while, so he went to get it checked out. It’s nothing serious, but I expect him to miss a few weeks of work.
It’s a major setback, especially considering how well he performed in our preseason win over Barcelona last month. We lost him while he was in good health, but he’d been in pain for a while, so we had to make a tough call.
